Here is the vest I have been knitting for my hubby. I spun it out of Llama and Icelandic. It was a nice pattern to knit. I made it a little on the large size and then fulled it in the machine, it is nice and thick, warm and fits perfect!! I had just made a blocking wall and it worked perfect. I used homosote, attached to the wall, covered with batting and gingham. I love it, keeps everything out of the way and I can stand and see what I am doing. I always wet block and it just happens to be no to far form the vent in the floor so that is an added plus!!
I have gotten several requests for where I found my pattern. It is the Patons for Men book # 521, an older book, but I would think you could still find it.

Awesome dogs. My son and daughter-in-law has a great dane and an English Bulldog. Dozer is his name and Rufus is the bulldog. Yours are really cute. I love your spun wool. Good luck with your blog. Rowena
Wow, what handsome dogs! Good luck with your blog. I am still trying to figure out how to put pictures and comments together!
Can you share the pattern for this vest? It's really nice and I think my husband might like this in a nice grey blend of alpaca, bamboo and lamb wool.
