Congratulations, Dori Ann!

As for not taking this election seriously - don't get discouraged by taking humor as a sign of light interest. I know from experience that lots of people joke when they are sad, when they are scared, etc. I made a LOT of jokes in pre-op when I was going in to get my tumor removed (I was young and pregnant at the time, and very frightened), and have heard jokes in abundance at many wakes, funerals, etc. that I've attended (of people who were very well beloved).
Making light of serious things is like whistling in the dark; it's an affirmation that life goes on.
I think the hugely increased voter turnout and registration is a pretty sure sign that people *are* taking the election seriously, whichever side of the political fence they fall on - or don't fall on, as the case may be. Hopefully that is a comfort to you, whatever the results!
:)
Take care of your knee - that looks painful!!
Sorry to hear you are having a bad day. Take care of yourself and get better soon. I definitely understand the being irritable thing!
Thanks so much for your nice words about my blog. I really appreciate that and I appreciate all the things you do for the team also.
We are very lucky to have you and your enthusiasm on our team! :)
I hope you have a really good weekend!
